Keith, is working with us for the second time. In the early days of our church, 1983-87, he served as our associate pastor. During that time he caught his first Bow River brown trout on a Wednesday evening after prayer meeting. It was a gateway experience and he eventually got hooked on fly-fishing.
In 1987 Keith was commissioned along with a church planting team from Crossroads to begin a new work. This resulted in a new re-vitalized church near the University of Calgary called Varsity Bible Church.
Keith returned to work with us from Varsity in the spring of 2019. His sense of calling to serve here again is expressed in Philippians 1:25 -26, “I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith, so that through my being with you again your joy in Christ Jesus will overflow on account of me.”
Yvonne is our church administrator. She keeps the oil in the machinery of managing an active congregation and a church building that serves in many ways as a community centre.
Ministry Team Director
Jenn Bestward serves as our Ministry Team Director. She and her husband Joel, have been active members at Crossroads for many years. Jenn has served in many ministry areas including small groups, missions, and worship.
Jenn was born and raised in Eastern Ontario. Growing up in the church she has a passion and desire to see the local church thrive and express the love of Christ Jesus to its surrounding communities.
Jenn & Joel live in Northeast Calgary with their one year old son.
Christian Education Director
Kimberly Cameron grew up in Northern BC, with her parents and two brothers, who are both married with children. She loves being an Auntie!
Kimberly attended Peace River Bible Institute, graduating in 2013 with a 4 year Bachelor of Religious Education in Christians Ministries with a Counselling Minor. She moved to the Calgary area in the summer of 2013 to work with ACTION Ventures, where she was for 5 years. During that time Kimberly had the opportunity to train and lead teams of young people overseas, sharing their stories, what God is doing in their lives, and who He is.
For the last 7 years she’s been attending Crossroads Community Church, which she finds to be welcoming and real, and is blessed to be a part of it. Fun fact: Kimberly met her husband, Jeremy, at Crossroads. She’s gotten to be part of many different areas of ministry here at Crossroads, and is thankful for the opportunity to serve as Christian Education Director position with the amazing Sunday school leaders and teachers!
