Word
God is still speaking today. We value listening and submitting to God through humble personal and corporate attendance to his word so he can do a work of transformation in us that we could never do on our own.
Prayer
God has made us for profound relationship with him. We value a growing and vital connection with God which is not possible except through prayer. Prayer involves listening to the heart of God in silence and solitude. Prayer involves demonstrating our dependence on God through bringing to him, both personally and corporately, our needs and the needs of others.
Worship
God alone is worthy of honour and praise. We value the increased awareness of the wonder of life and our deep dependence on God for all things. This brings us to awe and thanks and wonder and worship when we meet together and when we live our normal and ordinary lives.
Gospel
The Kingdom of God is near. We value the good news that God has not left us to ourselves. He has come to us in Christ with redemptive love. Our growing awareness of this love brings freedom and compels us to pass on God’s love as we are able. God can use our stories in transformational ways.
Grace
God’s gracious welcome is extended to everyone. We value extending that welcome to sinners of all description because we know ourselves to be deeply flawed yet deeply loved. We receive people regardless of where they are in spiritual journey and we offer them a safe place. We learn together to forgive as we have been forgiven.
Mission
We have been blessed to be a blessing. We value the intentional involvement of every believer in the challenging work of blessing the world. We invite everyone to use their unique, God-given gifts and skills to imitate the love of God by attending to the practical needs of people.
Community
We were not designed to journey alone. We value a vital community of every age, marital status, culture, and ethnicity that encourages and supports one another with compassion and celebrates God in our midst.
Stewardship
Everything we have we received as a gift. We value the open-handed sharing of time, skill, and money realizing this will be an important means through which we “do justly, love mercy and walk humbly with our God”.
