Serving with Greater Europe Mission
Hans, born in Germany, moved in his early years to Canada with his family and grew up in Calgary. After high school he attended Prairie Bible Institute as he sensed God calling him into ministry. Adeline (Adi) grew up as a missionary kid in India. Returning to Canada in her early teens, she felt God calling her into ministry, so attended Prairie Bible Institute after her high school graduation.
Hans and Adi joined Greater Europe Mission as a young couple in 1974. GEM is an interdenominational faith mission agency that has worked in Europe for over 50 years. The vision of the mission is "To assist the peoples of Europe in building up the Body of Christ, so that every person living in Europe is within reach of a witnessing fellowship."
Hans and Adi worked in Austria for 17 years and have now been in Luxembourg for the past 8 years. They have been involved in personal evangelism, discipleship, leadership training, women’s and children’s work. For the past 5 years Hans has assumed the role of a Regional Director for GEM which involves envisioning and supervising GEM missionaries in his area. He is presently responsible for 64 missionaries in Austria, Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, Holland, the UK and Ireland.
Hans and Adi enjoy among other things, reading, classical music, walking, traveling, discussing and interacting with people.
