Serving with Child Evangelism Fellowship of Alberta
My Testimony: Having been saved in a Bible club at the age of 6, I had a heart for children's ministry. While at Nipawin Bible Institute, I taught Good News Clubs®, a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship®. From there, I joined CEF of Alberta in 1982, and have been involved in children’s ministry, teacher training, administration, and more recently, leadership training (training teachers of teachers of children). I teach some courses at Prairie Bible College, and teach in 5 weeks of the Canadian Children's Ministries Institute, a 12-week Leadership Training Program based at Providence College in Otterburne, Manitoba.
I have travelled across Canada and the US, training teachers, as well as a 6-week ministry in Czechoslovakia in 1992, and 2 weeks in Ireland in 2002. At the present time, I am the administrator of our Provincial Office in Didsbury, as well as involved in teacher training. I live in Three Hills, which gives me opportunity to be involved with Prairie Bible College, training those interested in children’s ministry. I have seen my students travel throughout the world, evangelizing and discipling children, as well as training other teachers.
2 Timothy 2:2 describes my passion for ministry: And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.
